Make

Make (formerly Integromat) is a visual automation platform for building multi-step workflows, called Scenarios, without writing code. Where Zapier lays out a linear list of steps, Make uses a canvas: modules (app actions) are joined by lines, and during a run small data bubbles show exactly what passed between each step, which makes branching logic easier to follow and debug.

Data transformation is what sets Make apart. Built-in functions cover text, dates, math, JSON parsing, and regex. Iterators split an array so each item runs through the following modules on its own, aggregators collect the results back into one bundle, and routers branch a scenario on conditions, each branch with its own sequence. Error handlers can be attached to individual modules, so one failed call does not have to stop the whole run.

Make connects to more than 3,000 apps, and an HTTP module reaches any API without a ready-made app. Newer additions include AI agents that can call scenarios as tools and an on-prem agent for reaching systems inside a private network. The platform itself is cloud-only; there is no self-hosted edition. Integromat was acquired by Celonis in 2020 and rebranded as Make in 2022.

Pricing is based on credits: a standard module run uses one credit. A free plan covers light use with two active scenarios, and paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams) add unlimited scenarios, one-minute scheduling, and larger credit volumes, with Enterprise sold through sales.
