About Stripe
Stripe is a payment infrastructure company whose APIs let businesses accept payments online and in person, run subscriptions, send invoices, and move money around the world. Founded in 2010, it serves millions of businesses from startups to large enterprises, and its documentation and SDKs are widely treated as the benchmark for developer experience in payments.
The core is Payments: cards, bank debits and transfers, wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, and over 100 local payment methods, accepted through hosted Checkout pages, Payment Links that need no code, embeddable Elements, or fully custom API integrations. Radar screens every payment for fraud with machine learning, and Terminal extends the same account to in-person card readers.
